Ascenso Tyres UK have announced Sponsorship of World Champion Clay Pigeon Shooter Kallum Burrell!
At only 18 years old, Kallum is already making a name for himself in the Clay Pigeon shooting world having won as ‘High Gun’ at the 2021 Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA) World Sportrap Championships, winning both the senior and junior title and becoming a double World Champion.
The competition consisted of 100 targets shot in 4 layouts of 25. On each of these Kallum scored 23,25,25,25. This meant that he finished on a final score of 98/100 placing him as overall winner or ‘High Gun’, ahead of several of the worlds ‘top shots’ such as George Digweed who himself is a multi-world and European clay shooting champion.
In continuation of his success, Kallum was recently selected for the England Sporting Team for the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) World Sporting Championships 2022 which will take place at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas next April.
The partnership between Ascenso Tyres UK and Kallum Burrell will commence with immediate effect, supporting him through his winter training and into the new season in April, throughout 2022 and beyond.
